Easy Motion Trail edits and visualizes motion paths for objects and armature bones inside the Blender viewport. When an object is selected, the trail represents its animated world-space position. In Pose Mode, selecting a bone displays the true evaluated motion path, including parent offsets, constraints, and IK chains, matching what is visible in the viewport.
Trails are built from existing animation without creating new actions or slots. Points can be selected with left click or box selection, moved with G, rotated with R (twice for trackball mode), and scaled with S, and the trail updates live while dragging. Keyframes can be inserted between points or deleted, snapped to the nearest integer frame. A circular marker shows the current frame, and the trail fades before and after the playhead.
Optimized for dense rigs such as face rigs and complex characters, it performs minimal cache updates during transforms and runs a deferred rebuild afterward. It supports Blender 3.6 through 5.1. The add-on stays inactive while NLA clips are present, so those must be baked first.
