Industrial AOV Connector earns its place for automating output-node and denoise setups that artists would otherwise wire up by hand. It continues to evolve across versions and pairs directly with the developer's Industrial CG Platform branch and Industrial Light AOV Splitter.
Industrial AOV Connector adds an AOV output panel to Blender's Properties editor under View Layer, where it automatically builds outputs for advanced compositing. It handles material-based AOVs, light-group-based AOVs, and hybrid combinations of the two, and can set up multiple ViewLayers from scratch.
The add-on creates output nodes for you and intelligently adds denoise nodes based on each output's type. It converts position, normal, and vector passes into Nuke standard passes, which can also be used in Fusion or After Effects in theory. From version 2.1 onward, it can output hi-res anti-aliased Z and P channels plus a fake deep channel.
Paired with the Industrial CG Platform custom Blender branch, it enables proper light material AOVs and native deep EXR. It also co-works with the Industrial Light AOV Splitter and a Nuke script. Version 5.2.0 adds per-ViewLayer deep output management for Industrial CG Platform 5.2 and newer.

Industrial AOV Connector version 5.2.0 adds per-ViewLayer deep output management built for Industrial CG Platform 5.2 and newer. It makes ViewLayer.use_deep the only supported control for deep output and removes the older global Deep EXR toggle path. Earlier, from version 2.1, the add-on gained hi-res anti-aliased Z and P channel output along with a fake deep channel. The 5.2.0 changes focus on how deep output is managed per ViewLayer.
Industrial AOV Connector's developer has stated there are no current plans for Octane render support, noting that Octane appears to have its own AOV output capability. The add-on focuses on Blender AOV output and pairs with the Industrial CG Platform custom Blender branch for proper light material AOVs and native deep EXR.
