Mustard Simplify is a Blender add-on that disables certain scene and object features that impact viewport performance with a single click. Clicking Simplify Scene automatically disables the heavy features, which is useful during animation where maintaining high FPS is essential, and for static scenes when focusing on the main scene or the armature pose.
It operates non-destructively: no mesh edits are made, and the settings in place before Simplify is enabled are preserved. When Simplify is disabled, object properties such as modifier visibility and shape key status are restored to their original state. The Settings let you choose which features are disabled, including which modifier types and driven or non-driven shape keys, while an Exceptions list keeps chosen objects or collections untouched.
Extra utilities include a Scene Complexity Analyzer that colors the scene as a heatmap to spot the heaviest meshes, an Armature Proxy Generator, and Data Removal for unused data blocks.
