PowerSlide is a Blender add-on for adding and adjusting the supporting edges used when modeling geometry that will be subdivided. To keep certain parts of a model sharp, you add supporting edges around them, and as the mesh develops you may want to tighten, relax, or reposition those edges precisely. PowerSlide is built to make that adjustment quick and intuitive.
Select the primary edges and PowerSlide finds and adjusts all the related supporting edges. Select any part of an edge loop and it intelligently locates and adjusts the full loops, and multiple edge loops can be adjusted at once. Beyond edge mode, the tool can also be used in vertex mode. A documentation page provides full instructions with screenshots, and a demo video is available.
Version 1.1, released in January 2026, updates PowerSlide for Blender v5, and the add-on supports Blender 3.1 through 5.0 under the GPL license. Operator info displays in an overlay UI, and automatic loop finding works with any selection.
