Quick IK earns its place in the superhive library by collapsing a multi-step IK setup into a single selection and shortcut, with support spanning Blender 2.93 through 4.3.
Quick IK is an add-on from Blender.Fun for speeding up inverse kinematics work in Blender. Rather than stepping through pose mode, IK assignment, chain length changes and edit-mode unparenting one action at a time, it condenses the setup into a single selection and shortcut.
Working in pose mode, you select the controller bone, the IK bone and the chain-target bone, then press Shift-CTRL-I. The add-on unparents the controller bone, adds the IK constraints and sets the chain length for you.
Version 0.2 adds a pole target step: in pose mode, select the IK bone, shift-select the pole target and press Shift-CTRL-P. Quick IK runs under the GPL and supports Blender from 2.93 through 4.3, and documentation is included. A demo video is available.
Quick Ik is best for blender riggers who set up inverse kinematics frequently and want to cut down the manual pose-mode and edit-mode steps.
Quick Ik is completely free to download and use.
Quick IK supports a wide span of Blender releases, running on 2.93, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3. The add-on is released under the GPL. Because that list runs from older releases through the current 4.x versions, it fits most Blender installations you are likely to be working in. For the latest confirmation of supported versions, check the developer's page directly before installing.
Quick IK handles IK assignment from pose mode in a single action. You select three bones, the controller bone, the IK bone and the chain-target bone, then press Shift-CTRL-I. From that selection the add-on unparents the controller bone, adds the IK constraints and sets the chain length. This replaces the sequence of manual steps you would otherwise repeat by hand across pose mode and edit mode for each chain you rig.
Quick IK added a pole target shortcut in version 0.2. Working in pose mode, select your IK bone, then shift-select the pole target and press Shift-CTRL-P. That single step handles the pole target part of the process, using the same fast approach the add-on takes for the main IK setup. It works alongside the three-bone Shift-CTRL-I action, so you can use both while building a rig.
Quick IK is listed as free in this catalog, and it is distributed under the GPL license. Pricing and licensing on marketplaces can change over time, so for the current terms and any purchase details it is best to check the developer's page directly. The add-on also comes with documentation, which is worth reviewing when you set it up so the shortcuts and required bone selections are clear before you begin rigging.
