RefBoard adds a dedicated node editor to Blender for keeping image references. You open it like any other Blender editor by choosing RefBoard from the editor type list, click New to create a board, and give each board its own name. Images arrive by dragging them in, pasting from the clipboard with Ctrl + V, using the Add Image button, or pressing Shift + A. PDFs can also be added, imported as one image node per page.
Sidebar tools in the N-Panel let you match sizes, arrange images into rows, columns, or automatic grids, and align selected images to the active one. Individual images can be rotated or mirrored from the node controls, and nodes are selected by clicking their image area. Images draw behind their nodes with Blender-style outlines.
Boards export and import as portable .refbmd files, so references can move between Blender projects or be shared with images packed together. Pasted clipboard bitmaps can also be packed into the .blend file. RefBoard supports PNG, JPG, JPEG, TGA, BMP, EXR, and WEBP images, plus PDF documents.
