Simple Camera Manager comes from Matthias Patscheider, developer of Simple Renaming (50,000+ users) and Simple Collider. It earns its place in the superhive library by consolidating camera settings, sorting, batch rendering, and dolly zoom into a single 3D View panel that runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Simple Camera Manager brings every camera in a Blender scene into a single panel, handling camera settings, batch rendering, and quick switching directly from the 3D View. The camera list can be sorted by Active First, Collection, Focal Length, Render Slot, Resolution, or Background Image, and filtered to show only visible or render-selected cameras.
A spreadsheet-style panel exposes and adjusts camera settings, while batch rendering outputs multiple static cameras with different settings and shows progress in the render view. Focal length and resolution presets are available from the pie menu and N-Panel, and the Dolly Zoom tool moves the camera toward or away from the subject while adjusting the zoom angle to keep the subject the same size.
Each camera can take its own resolution, render slot, world material, and exposure value. A Passepartout overlay tints camera frames blue for locked cameras and red for viewport-linked cameras, with colors customizable in preferences. Background image settings, hotkeys, and camera collections are all managed from the add-on. It works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Simple Camera Manager is best for blender artists presenting camera angles to clients, producing marketing content at different per-camera resolutions, modeling from reference photos, and building architectural visualizations with multiple interior and exterior views.
Simple Camera Manager is completely free to download and use.
Simple Camera Manager works on Windows, macOS, and Linux, so its panel-based camera workflow is available regardless of platform. From the 3D View you can see all cameras in one place, sort and filter the list, adjust settings in a spreadsheet-style panel, and batch render multiple cameras. Hotkeys and overlay colors can be personalized in the add-on preferences, and the Passepartout overlay tints camera frames blue for locked cameras and red for viewport-linked cameras so you can read each camera's status in the viewport.
Simple Camera Manager lets you switch cameras using hotkeys, with the default set to Ctrl + Shift + Arrow Left and Ctrl + Shift + Arrow Right, or through the add-on panels. These hotkeys can be personalized in the add-on preferences to fit your workflow. Alongside switching, you can browse every camera from the N-Panel and the Camera Popup Window, which provides an overview of all cameras in the scene and their most important settings at a glance.
Simple Camera Manager lets you assign a unique resolution to each camera, and a per-camera Resolution Overwrite toggle prevents unwanted resolution changes when you switch between them. You can also set a camera's resolution based on its background image, and apply common resolutions quickly from preset selectors in the pie menu and N-Panel. Render slots can be assigned per camera as well, which helps prevent one render from overwriting another when you output several cameras.
Simple Camera Manager includes an interactive Dolly Zoom tool that moves the camera closer to or further from the subject while adjusting the zoom angle to keep the subject the same size. It can be used to find and define dynamic and engaging shots and to experiment with different camera movements and angles. The tool works from the 3D View alongside the add-on's other camera controls, including quick switching, presets, and batch rendering.
Simple Camera Manager is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing and pricing can change, so check the developer's page for the current terms before relying on any particular arrangement. Once installed, the add-on provides the full panel-based workflow, including centralized camera view, list sorting and filtering, batch rendering, dolly zoom, focal length and resolution presets, render slots, and customizable hotkeys across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
