Timeline Buttons is a Blender add-on from tinkerboi that carries the Timeline editor's controls over to other animation-related editors. The Play button, Pause button, Autokey options, and Frame Range are added, so you keep those controls at hand while working in a different editor.
The affected editors are the Sequencer, Dopesheet, Graph, Driver, and NLA editors. Version 1.0.0 was the initial release, and the add-on is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. It requires no special permissions and is written entirely in Python.
Timeline Buttons is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, with source available on the developer's GitHub page. Note that some larger animation-editor add-ons may already implement this feature, so it's worth checking whether another add-on you use already includes it.
