Truevault stands out in the superhive library for keeping asset browsing, purchasing and one-click import inside Blender, paired with a credit model that lets you redeem only what you need. You can browse the full library for free without an account, and HDRIs and Nodegroups are listed as coming soon.
Truevault is an asset library that runs inside Blender, letting you browse objects, materials and heightmaps without leaving your scene. You install it as an addon by dragging its purple button into Blender, then search, filter and preview the library from within the app. HDRIs and Nodegroups are noted as coming soon.
Rather than committing to large packs, Truevault uses a credit system: buy a credit pack once, then redeem only the individual assets or bundles you want, with bundle discounts and no subscription. Anything you purchase is yours forever under a royalty-free license, and addons come with a perpetual license. Downloads are tracked in your account, alongside how many products you own and how many credits you have.
Assets import with one click and sensible default placement, and material presets, colors and roughness are adjustable through the addon's UIs. A FastSCATTER option scatters assets directly from the browser. New accounts can claim 28 free starter assets — 12 materials, 12 3D objects and 4 heightmaps — and you can browse the full library for free without an account.
Truevault is best for blender artists who want an in-app asset library and prefer redeeming individual assets or bundles with credits over committing to large packs.
Truevault is completely free to download and use.
Truevault installs as a Blender addon: drag the purple button into Blender to install it, then set up your account inside the addon. Credits can only be redeemed inside TrueVAULT, so completing account setup is what lets your credit purchases go through. Once installed, you can browse, search, filter and preview the library from within Blender and import assets into your scene with one click. Assets you own also receive automatic updates and installations, so your library stays current without manual reinstalls.
Truevault lets you browse the full library for free without an account — installing the addon is enough to view all assets, filters and metadata before you decide to buy credits. An account comes into play when you want to redeem content: the free starter assets and any credit purchases can only be applied to a valid TrueVAULT account. So you can look around freely, but signing up is required to actually claim free assets or buy and redeem paid ones.
Truevault offers a free starter collection of 28 assets to new accounts: 12 materials, 12 3D objects and 4 heightmaps, described as production-ready assets for testing workflows before spending credits. The free assets can only be redeemed against a valid TrueVFX / Vault account, so you need to create a free account and log in through the addon to claim them. Browsing the wider library, by contrast, requires no account at all — you only sign up when you want to redeem content.
Truevault gives you ownership of what you buy: any asset you purchase is yours forever under a royalty-free license, and any addon you purchase comes with a perpetual license rather than a subscription. Downloads are tracked in your account, where you can also see how many products you own and how many credits you have. Purchases run on credits, which you buy in packs and then redeem inside TrueVAULT for individual assets or bundles.
Truevault is listed as free here in the catalog. Beyond the free starter assets and the no-account library browsing, the platform runs on a credit model — you buy credit packs and redeem them for the specific assets or bundles you want, with bundle discounts and no subscription. For current terms on credit packs and licensing, check the developer's page, since those details are set and maintained there.
