Earns its place in the Blender Extensions library as a small, single-purpose add-on for switching vertex, edge, and face modes from the keyboard.
123 Select is a compact Blender add-on from Fisch_Tu that lets you switch between vertex, edge, and face in Object Mode by pressing 1, 2, or 3. The add-on is 2.1 KB in size and requires no special permissions to run.
One caveat to note: the shortcuts won't work if "Emulate Numpad" is enabled in Blender's preferences. With that option off, pressing a number key changes the active selection mode.
123 Select is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, and is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. You can add it by dragging and dropping the file into Blender, or by downloading it and installing from disk through Blender's extension preferences. It is currently at version 1.0.0, published in August 2025.
123 Select is best for blender users who want to switch vertex, edge, and face selection with the 1, 2, and 3 keys while in Object Mode.
123 Select is completely free to download and use.
123 Select is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, so version 4.2 is supported along with later releases. The add-on is currently at version 1.0.0, published in August 2025, and is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. At just 2.1 KB, it installs either by dragging and dropping the file into Blender or by downloading it and installing from disk through Blender's extension preferences.
123 Select relies on the 1, 2, and 3 keys to switch between vertex, edge, and face in Object Mode. If those shortcuts don't respond, check whether "Emulate Numpad" is enabled in Blender's preferences — the developer notes the add-on won't work while that option is turned on. Turning it off should restore the shortcuts. Beyond this, the add-on requires no special permissions to run.
123 Select can be added to Blender in two ways: drag and drop the downloaded file directly into Blender, or download the file and install it from disk through Blender's extension preferences. The add-on is a small 2.1 KB package and requires no special permissions. It works with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, and once installed you switch vertex, edge, and face in Object Mode by pressing 1, 2, or 3.
123 Select is listed as free here, and it is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. For current licensing details, check the developer's page. The add-on is currently at version 1.0.0, published in August 2025, and requires no special permissions to run. It is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer and installs either by drag-and-drop into Blender or from disk.
