AC Tools by PhinDev is a Blender add-on aimed at improving, or creating, the track modeling workflow for Assetto Corsa tracks. Its designed workflow centers on a track project folder that holds the .blend project file, an FBX export, and a textures folder for ksEditor.
For modeling, it creates and places AC-Objects with correct axis, numbering and naming, and a default mesh (y up, -z front). It builds start positions with right and left alignment and an adjustable offset for grid lineup, and creates left and right timing positions. Physical AC-materials can be assigned to objects, renamed to forms such as 1ROAD.<obj.name>, with defaults including 1ROAD, 1KERB, 1GRASS, 1SAND, 1PIT, 1WALL and 1OUT, plus custom materials managed through the interface.
On the project side, it can initialize or select a track folder using a best-practice structure for AC compatibility, generating a default ui_track.json with placeholders and default .ini files. It renames tracks, opens the track folder in Blender's text editor, and exports the scene to FBX with AC-specific parameters and validation checks. Built-in logic prevents certain beginner mistakes; for instance, FBX export only runs when the scene has the required AC-Objects.
