Autofocus Pro, developed by Moby Motion and previously known as aperture, adds depth of field to Blender scenes by working like a real camera to focus where you want. Applying autofocus takes a single click, with no need to set up shrinkwrap modifiers for every new scene.
The plugin sees your entire scene like a physical camera and can focus on any object, even when you pan to a different part of the scene. Built-in focus regions cover the center, the left third, or a subject moving through a large part of the frame, and you can draw your own bounding box for a custom focusing region. Focus can be pulled smoothly to replicate a real camera that doesn't react instantaneously, or handled quickly for fast-moving scenes. Autofocus Pro pulls focus for every frame and keyframes that movement for you.
A recent update adds a Probe Focus Distance feature, which reports the optimal focus distance for the current frame without changing focus. It also renames panels in line with Blender conventions to suppress console warnings, improves the in-plugin documentation, and officially supports Blender 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2.
