BL Easy Crop earns its place in the blender_extensions library for bringing a familiar handle-based interface to Blender's built-in VSE crop, making it feel closer to the rotate, scale and move tools artists already use.
BL Easy Crop is a Blender extension that lets you click and drag handles to crop clips in the Visual Sequence Editor and preview window. It gives Blender's built-in crop a visual interface, so the operation looks and behaves more like the editor's other transforms: rotate, scale, move and transform.
You can reach the tool from the preview window toolbar, the menus, or a keyboard shortcut set to Shift + C by default. It works with all strip types that support cropping.
Version 2.0.3 brought a fix for Blender 5, changed the default shortcut to Shift + C to avoid clashing with 'circle select', and included broad refactors. The extension is written in Python, released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and requires no special permissions.
