Tile Generator
by DaveWorksOnBlender
Tile Generator is a Blender add-on that reads a starting heightmap tile at the 0,0 origin, finds the rest of the grid, and builds displaced geometry, a full PBR material, and print-ready STL tiles.

BuildXQ Craft takes a different angle from many building generators by assembling your own geometry into a complete building, so the design control stays with you rather than a fixed parts library.
BuildXQ Craft is a parametric building generator for Blender built around your own models, so there are no node trees and no placing pieces by hand. Its eyedropper workflow lets you double-click a wall, then click a second wall to swap the model into place — one click per wall. The system is fully parametric, so you can stretch, swap, stack and restyle live.
Buildings use six stackable levels — ground, cornices, standard floors, parapet and wall top — configurable per side: North, South, East and West. You can push any facade outward as a room or wing with its own depth and side models, and place multiple buildings in one scene. A built-in material helper handles colour and procedural weathering such as rain, wear and grime right in the panel, and stays fully editable in the Shader Editor.
BuildXQ Craft generates real, editable geometry you can export anywhere. The package includes three ready-made styles — Personal, Colonial and Corporate — with example models, a demo building, model palettes and a Cycles environment with the built-in BuildXQ Sky. It runs on Cycles and EEVEE with Blender 5.1 or newer.
Buildxq Craft is best for blender artists who want to assemble parametric buildings from their own geometry rather than a supplied parts library.
Buildxq Craft is completely free to download and use.
BuildXQ Craft requires Blender 5.1 or newer and works with both Cycles and EEVEE. It was developed and tested on Windows. The add-on ships with a Cycles environment that includes the built-in BuildXQ Sky, a procedural sky with clouds and a sun. If you run an older Blender release, you would need to update first, since 5.1 is the stated minimum for this version. A full online manual is available on the developer's page.
BuildXQ Craft ships with a Cycles scene, so a dedicated GPU is recommended for a smooth viewport and faster renders. It also runs on CPU, just more slowly. Because the add-on generates real, editable geometry rather than lightweight instances, performance scales with your scene — the number of buildings, the floor count and the polygon density of your own models all affect how it runs.
BuildXQ Craft is built around your own models, but in version 1.0 source models must follow the size convention of a 3 m grid or its multiples and keep their standard names. Do not apply scale or rotation (Ctrl A) to source models, since BuildXQ relies on their transform data. The add-on assembles and arranges parts rather than sculpting new geometry, so the design control stays with you.
BuildXQ Craft is listed as free in this catalog. For current licensing and any purchase details, check the developer's page. The package includes the add-on for Blender 5.1 or newer, three ready-made styles — Personal, Colonial and Corporate — with example models, a demo building, model palettes for all three styles, a Cycles environment with the built-in BuildXQ Sky, and a full online manual.
BuildXQ Craft generates real, editable geometry rather than lightweight instances, and you can export it anywhere. You can also place multiple buildings in a single scene, with live and parametric regeneration as you set floor counts, widen each side, swap wall models or push out bays. The geometry stays real and editable, so it remains under your control throughout the process. A demo video is also available.
