Why we like it

Colorspacer earns its place in the Superhive library for automating colorspace assignment across textures, with support for ACES, AGX, and Blender colorspaces plus a custom menu.

What is Colorspacer?

Colorspacer is a Blender add-on from INFINITYCG built to assign colorspaces to image textures with a single action. It supports ACES, Blender native, and AGX colorspaces by default, and a custom menu allows for any possible combination of colorspaces, with more options available upon request. You can fix the colorspace of selected objects or fix it for all at once through an intuitive UI.

Using Colorspacer requires an OCIO configuration that includes ACES, which can be obtained from the official GitHub direct download or as a minimal ACES OCIO from Alfie Vaughan's Patreon. On first use, you adjust the add-on's settings and preferences, and it retains those settings afterwards. The add-on does not yet support custom node groups, and most Enum errors stem from a colorspace-OCIO mismatch that can be resolved by setting the color roles for your OCIO.

Colorspacer is now in maintenance mode. A free version is available, limited to the 1.0 update and without the Node-train engine. Documentation covers the changelog and usage, and bug reports or feature suggestions can be sent via messages, reviews, or the GitHub page.

Who is Colorspacer best for?

Colorspacer is best for blender artists assigning ACES, AGX, or native colorspaces to image textures across their scenes.

How much does Colorspacer cost?
