GizMap links cursor movements on a mesh to a vector Gizmo, which connects to a mapping node — either found automatically or selected by you. Any cursor movement in 3D space can then drive translation, rotation or scale in that node, letting you drag, rotate and scale decals, PBR textures and more through direct interaction with the mesh.
The addon supports both UV and Object mapping. For UV maps, rotation and scaling are centred on the Gizmo location on the mesh, giving more precise control. A special type of Object mapping for decals was added for cases where UV mapping is not ideal, and support for multiple material slots lets you adjust the mapping of every material on a mesh without swapping between them.
Beyond the initial install, no setup or configuration is required — open a material, pick a mapping node or let GizMap find one, and it handles the rest. It also integrates with PBR Painter to control the mapping of layers, masks and custom node groups. GizMap is compatible with Blender versions 2.9 through 5.0.
