The bendybones toolkit is a compact add-on from Felipe-G for working with bendy bones in Blender, extracted from the tools used at Blood Sweat n Polys. Its functions run in edit mode and can be reached from the armature context menu or from a dedicated sidebar item.
The toolkit covers two operations. To convert bendy bones to regular bones, select them and press the button. To set handles, first select the handle bone, then select the bendy bone to change a handle type.
Version 1.6.0 adds a picker for the mesh object and an option to constrain or not constrain the new segments to the original bbone, and corrects the hierarchy of new segment bones. The add-on requires no special permissions and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. It is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, and ranks 247 in the Blender extensions library.
