Blenquick Auto-Rigger stands out in the Superhive library for pairing one-click body and facial detection with a non-destructive workflow, spanning humanoid characters, animals, vehicles, and accessory rigs.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger, from developer Stellart, brings automated character rigging to Blender. It covers the full rigging process: binding, detection, retargeting, finger toggling, adding or duplicating rig parts, final rig generation, and rig export. The workflow is non-destructive, so the rig can be edited at any time, even after binding.
Its SNAPPY system offers one-click automatic body detection for humanoid characters, while SNAPPY FACIAL provides one-click automatic facial detection. Automatic markers placement covers both body and facial setups, with a manual (Legacy) option for hand rigging. BAR also handles animals through automatic body and facial marker setup, including presets for birds, cats/lions/tigers, dogs/wolves, fish/sea mammals, horses, and snakes. Beyond characters, it can rig vehicles, objects, and accessories such as skirts, scarves, and dresses.
Binding runs through BINDY, a hybrid of voxelized and heat-map methods for facial and body, and you can define extra objects to improve facial-area binding. Rigs export to FBX and GLTF, compatible with Unreal Engine, Maya, Godot, and Unity. The interface offers UI scaling and button styling options.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger is best for blender artists rigging humanoid and non-humanoid subjects — including animals, vehicles, objects, and clothing or accessories — who want automatic marker detection and binding.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger is completely free to download and use.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger is compatible with Blender 5.0.0 and 5.1.0, and it runs on both Linux and Windows. On these versions it covers a full rigging pipeline — binding, marker detection, retargeting, rig-part duplication, final rig generation, and export — so you can set up humanoid, animal, vehicle, and accessory rigs within a supported Blender build. For any other configuration details, check the developer's page and the documentation.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger exports rigs in FBX and GLTF formats. Both are compatible with Unreal Engine, Maya, Godot, Unity, and other similar 3D animation programs, so rigs built in Blender can move into those pipelines. The add-on also supports rig-part duplication for head, arms, legs, spine, fingers, toes, and neck, and its non-destructive workflow means the rig can still be edited after binding. See the documentation for the full export options.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger binds through BINDY, which the developer describes as a hybrid between voxelized and heat-map methods, used for both facial and body binding. You can define extra objects to improve binding around the facial area. BAR can also bind using the Voxel Heat Diffuse Skinning addon, though that addon has to be installed separately. Binding fits into a non-destructive workflow, so the rig stays editable afterward. The documentation covers the binding steps in more detail.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger handles animals through automatic body and facial marker setup, with presets for birds, cats/lions/tigers, dogs/wolves, fish/sea mammals, horses, and snakes. Beyond animals, it can rig vehicles, objects, and accessories such as skirts, scarves, and dresses. For humanoid characters, SNAPPY and SNAPPY FACIAL provide one-click body and facial detection, and a manual Legacy option is available if you prefer to place markers yourself.
Blenquick Auto-Rigger is listed as free here, and the developer states that updates are free and always will be. To be notified when a new version is available, the developer asks for consent to receive emails, otherwise they can't reach you. Customer service is available seven days a week, with questions usually answered within a few hours. For current licensing terms, check the developer's page.
