Matching Actions is a Blender add-on that offsets and aligns Action 2 so it starts exactly where Action 1 ends, based on the bones you choose. The result is a more seamless NLA blend, especially for Mixamo and mocap-style clips.
The workflow is direct: select your rig, set Action 1 and Action 2, choose the parent or root bone along with an alignment bone such as a planted foot, then press Match. An optional Z rotation setting lets you match position only, or position plus facing direction. Each time you run a match, a copy of the original Action 2 is saved automatically as a backup.
The add-on works with Blender 3.6 through 4.2 and was developed and tested on Blender 4.2. It is not compatible with Blender 4.4 or later due to changes in the Action system, and it overwrites keyframes in Action 2 to apply the offset. It is released under the MIT license.
